DynaComware Co., Ltd. is engaged in the license management of fonts related to the GB18030 standard in Japan based on a contract with the Chinese government (China Electronics Standardization Institute). GB is derived from the Chinese pronunciation of "national standard" (GuoJia BiaoZhun), representing "National Standard 18030," and is a mandatory standard along with other standards that begin with GB. Our company already offers 10 TrueType fonts that have passed the conformity inspection and received GB18030 compliance certification. Each character set includes 27,484 kanji characters, 682 non-kanji characters, and 94 ASCII characters, totaling 28,269 characters.
